Mabel A. Shipp affectionately known as Miss Mabel to everyone, died Wednesday morning in a local hospital.
Mrs. Shipp was born August 6, 1925 in Yellow Creek,Hempstead County, Arkansas. She was retired from Red River Army Depot and was employed with Porky's Food Service Inc. She was a member of the Lofty Sunday School and member of the Quilters and Crafters of Fairview United Methodist Church. She was also a member of the Order of Eastern Star; the Order of the Amaranth; the Miller County Home Extension Club and the Woodmen of the World.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Woodrow February 1, 1966.
