Frances L. Sheets, age 55, of Pensacola, Florida passed away Monday, August 25, 2008. She was a faithful member of Cornerstone Christian Center for over 10 years. Through the Lord, she lead many to Christ and will continue to do so in her absence. She was always there with open arms and unconditional love for her children and anyone else in need. She was your best friend. She loved to dance before the Lord. She was always a willing vessel and if you knew her you knew Jesus. By the way, she made the best cheese grits in the South. We will miss her but will see her again in due time. We love you mom.
Survivors include her son; William J. Brooks, daughter and son-in-law; Tabitha and Troy Melton, her son; Larry Brooks, her son and daughter-in-law; Ricky and Jennifer Brooks, her ex-husband and friend; William "Peanut" Brooks, her sister; Kitty Wright, her brother; Clarence Sheets, Jr., her sister; Ellen Atchison, her grandkids; Viola, Lilly, Xenia, Bubba, Lonnie, Wyatt, Joshua, Dagan, Whitney, Hailey, Kaitlyn and Jacob, numerous nieces, nephews and countless friends.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, August 27, 2008 at 1:00 pm at Faith Chapel Funeral Home North-Cantonment with Rev. Joe Collins officiating. Interment will follow at Oakhill Cemetery in Atmore, Alabama.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday, August 27, 2008 one hour prior to service time.
