Merle 'Mouse' Stringer
Services will be held at 10 a.m. today at New Hope Baptist Church for Merle "Mouse" Stringer, 75, of Kokomo, who died Aug. 27, 2008, at Forrest General Hospital.
Burial will be in Lott Cemetery in Foxworth.
Mrs. Stringer worked at Haspel Clothing for 27 years and Debbie's Sandwich Shop for 17 years and was a member of New Hope Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Barney Bedwell and Rosella Pittman.
Survivors include her husband, Leo Stringer; a son, Keith Stringer of Foxworth; two brothers, Louie D. Bedwell and Billy Ray Bedwell, both of Foxworth; three grandchildren and a great-grandchild.
Hathorn Funeral Home in Columbia is in charge of arrangements.
