Mrs. Amanda Duncan passed peacefully away at her home on Thursday afternoon, April 16th, after several months' illness, death being due to paralysis. The deceased was seventy-four years old, and had resided in this county over forty years, and was highly respected and loved by all her friends and relatives. The funeral services were held from the Council Corder Methodist church, of which she was a member. Services were conducted by Rev. Goodrich on Saturday afternoon at 2 o'clock, interment being made in Council Corner cemetery.
