Visitation for Nicky Dee Lewis "Khay-Balth" of Bellingham will be from 3 to 5 pm today at Lummi Neighborhood Facility, followed by a prayer service at 6:30 pm. A funeral will be at 10 am Wednesday at Lummi Neighborhood Facility, followed by burial in Lummi Indian Cemetery. Mr. Lewis died at home Saturday, Jan 20, 1996. He was 35.

Born June 4, 1960 to Donald and Helen Marie Bob Lewis in Bellingham, he lived in Marietta all his life. He married Ruth Scott on Sept 17, 1990 in Custer.

Mr. Lewis attended Bellingham schools and graduated from Bellingham Technical College with a certificate in diesel mechanics. He worked at Lummi Casino, was a commercial fisher and was president of Native Pride Seafoods.

He was preceded in death by sisters Deanna Lewis, Calleen Lewis and Peggy Ann Tijerina. Survivors include his wife of the family home; his parents of Bellingham; sons Nicholas Lewis, Jonah Lewis, Thomas Lewis and Christopher Lewis, all of Bellingham; daughter Nicole Lewis of Bellingham; brother Don Lewis Jr of Bellingham; and sisters Dawn Cline of Everson, Deborah Gladden of Bellingham and Julianne Tom of Ferndale.
