Francis J. Glenn, 78 PALM BAY, Fla. -- Francis J. Glenn, 78, of Palm Bay, Fla., formerly of Saco died Wednesday, Aug. 20, 2008, at his residence surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Taunton, Mass., the son of Francis J., Sr. and Fabiola Brodeur Glenn where he attended schools. He married Joan (Reagan) Glenn on Oct. 14, 1960. Mr. Glenn served in the U.S. Air Force for over 20 years retiring at the rank of Tech Sergeant in 1969. He was a life member of VFW Post 832, South Portland. He enjoyed family gatherings and spending time with his family during the holidays. He also enjoyed spending time with his six grandchildren and two great-grandsons. Besides his wife of 48 years, Joan D. Glenn, of Palm Bay, Fla.; he leaves two daughters, Patricia Brown and her husband Joel of Limington, Beverly Larkin and her husband Craig of Palm Bay, Fla., a son Francis J. III and his wife Cyndi of Saco; a sister, Beatrice Sylvia of Stoughton, Mass.; six grandchildren, Matthew Dunton, Nicholas Dunton, Christopher Glenn, Scott Glenn, Kyle Larkin, Kourtney Larkin; and two great-grandsons, Camden Frost and Kyle Larkin Jr. Visiting hours will be held Thursday, Aug. 28, 2008, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Jones, Rich & Hutchins Funeral Home, 199 Woodford St., to be followed by a funeral service at 1 p.m. with the Rev. Don Boscoe Duquette, OFM, CAP officiating. Interment with military honors will follow at Evergreen Cemetery, Portland.
