Margaret June Snyder, six-year-old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Leo Snyder, was struck by an auto at the intersection of Main Street and Fifth Street in Douglas, killing her almost instantly on Feb. 11, 1940. She was born Aug. 12, 1933 at Alliance, Nebraska. She was a first-grade student at north grade school this year. She is survived by her parents and a sister who reside at 320 No. 3rd Street.
