He married Esther Krueger August 2, 1930 in Toledo Ohio. They lived in New Boston Michigan most of their married life. This union was blessed with four sons: Noble R., and Lawrence of Springfield Mo. Raymond of Romulus Michigan and Gary at home; five daughters Mrs. Gerry (Joretta) Canejo, Mrs. Theodore (Mary Lee) Pappas. and Mrs. Bernard (Margaret) Ballantyne, all of Romulus; Mrs. Floyd (Kathy) McNew of Wayne and Mrs. Bernard (Bernice)Miller of Westland.
He was also survived by three brothers, Clay Carter of New Boston, Earl Carter of Taylor, and Darrell Carter of California; a sister Mrs. Faye Masten of Arizona; a half sister Mrs. Mae Patton of Wyandotte. And one brother that preceded him in death Raymond. He was also survived by 27 grandchildren.
Two weeks before Noble died he had been in a car accident, he died from a blood clot cause by that accident.
He worked at the Ford Motor Company in Lincoln Park as a glass cutter.
