Rachel Maxwell
Rachel Renee Maxwell, 8, of 312 W. Keller St., Bradford, died Wednesday at Children's Hospital, Cincinnati.
Rachel was born Jan. 30, 1980, in Piqua, daughter of Ed and Pam (Lavey) Maxwell, who survive. She was a first grader at Bradford Elementary School and was a member of Greenville Creek United Church of Christ.
Surviving, in addition to her parents, are two brothers, Jamie, 16, and Blake, 6; her grandparents, Nadine and Dean Lavey of Bradford and Robert and Betty Maxwell of Piqua; and three grandmothers, Zelma Lavey of Bradford, Faye Caldwell of Covington and Myrtle Maxwell of Piqua.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at Stocker Funeral Home, Bradford, with the Rev. Steven Erickson officiating. Burial will follow in Greenville Creek Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the Miami County Rehabilitation Center, 850 S. Main St., Piqua.
