Wayne W. Colvin, 40, 1820 S. Evergreen, died at Neosho Memorial Hospital this morning after an extended illness.

He was born February 22, 1920, in Stark. He was employed by the city of Chanute, was a member of the St. Patrick's Catholic church, and veteran of World War II. He was married to Clara Stephen at St. Louis.

Survivors are his wife of the home; one son, Herman, U.S. Army; three daughters, Mrs. Delbert Evenson, Eureka, Sherry Lee Colvin and Bernice Darlene Colvin, both of the home; three grandchildren; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Howard Colvin, Humboldt; eight sisters, Mrs. M.J. Gifford, Mrs. Morris Lien, Mrs. Tillman Lien, Mrs. Rosa Rutledge and Mrs. Bessie Hall, Auburn, Wash., Mrs. Mike West, Chanute, Mrs. Leslie Thompson, 408 E. 3rd, and Mrs. Guy Edgerle, 1019 S. Santa Fe; and four brothers, Ray, 15 S. Plummer, Leonard, 523 N. Evergreen, Kenneth, Boone, Ia., and Herbert, Humboldt.
