Eula W. Brown, 91, of Jesup, died Tuesday, Dec. 24, 2002 at Ravenwood Nursing and Rehab Center; Waterloo, of natural causes.
 Mrs. Brown received a teaching certificate from Iowa State Teachers College, Cedar Falls, and taught school for approximately four years. Later she and her husband farmed until retirement.
 Survivors include: five sons, Donald E. (Vetra) and Gary F. (Donna), both of rural Independence, Dr. Gordon D. (Kathleen) Brown of Columbia, Mo., James A. (Kathey) of East Peoria, Ill., and Jerald L. (Kathy) of Bick, Minn.; 20 grandchildren and 29 great-grandchildren; a brother, Clarence Bailey of rural Independence; and a sister, Helen Blad of Jesup.
 Preceded in death by: two sons, Darrel and Richard; a grandson; three brothers, Ray, Ralph and Robert Bailey; and two sisters, Nellie Green and Iva Dinnebier.
 Services: 1:30 p.m. Saturday at White Funeral Home, Jesup, with burial in Old Barclay cemetery, rural Jesup. Friends may call after 2 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
