Josephine L. WILLIAMS was the daughter of Samuel W. WILLIAMS Sr. & Elizabeth ANDREWS, and the wife of William Thomas EVANS, "Town," the son of John C. EVANS & Mary Ann WATERS. Her husband, "Town," was born in December of 1854 and died after 1900, and is likely buried at Double Heads Baptist Church. He had his wife's stone headed with the inscription "My Wife;" and a matching stone with the inscription "My Mother" for Mary Ann WATERS EVANS.
