Rita Beeson Simmons
CLEVELAND - Rita Beeson Simmons, 89, of New Orleans, formerly of Cleveland, homemaker and former employee of Denton's Dairy and Sears, died of heart failure Monday (22) at St. Margaret's Daughter's Home in New Orleans. Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday (23) at Yale Street Baptist Church with burial in New Cleveland Cemetery. Ray Funeral Home has charge. Mrs. Simmons, the widow of W. A. Kilgore, leaves two daughters, Freddie K. Roark of Boyle and Rita K. Reed of Violet, La.; two sons, Billy Kilgore of Granbury, Texas, and Robert E. Kilgore of Dallas; two sisters, Bobby Stribling of Panama City, Fla., and Imogene Watkins of Ridgeland, 12 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren.
