Rex Hoover, Sr. was interred in the Columbarian Wall on August 11, 2007. He was a Pearl Harbor Survivor and served on the U.S.S. Helena until she was sunk in July, 1943 in the Kula Gulf. He survived WWII and raised a family, who have honored him by placing his cremains in the Prescott National Cemetery. He worked at the VA Hospital in Prescott for 27 years, serving veterans hospitalized there.
