WILLIAM L. HEUSER
William L. Heuser, 86, MR 2, died at 11:15 p.m. Friday at the Knox Nursing Home, after a lingering illness.
Born at Edwardsville, Ill., Nov. 27, 1881, he was the son of Jasper and Wilhelmina Heuser. He married Emma Luehrmann, who preceded him in death in 1955.
A retired farmer, Heuser had been a resident of the Valparaiso area since 1927. He was a member of the Immanuel Lutheran church.
Surviving are one daughter, Mrs. Emily Heimberg, Valparaiso; three sons, William H., Lombard, Ill., Erwin E., Valparaiso, and Arthur G., Delano, Calif.; 11 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
Besides his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by two sons, Elmer and Herbert.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday at the Wetmore Funeral home with Dr. Luther P. Koepke, Kouts Lutheran church, officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 2 p.m. Sunday.
