Graveside services were held Monday, Aug. 18, at 1:30 p.m. in the Family Chapel at Greenwood Cemetery with the Rev. George Watts officiating.
A memorial service will be held Thursday, Aug. 21, at 11 a.m. at Faith Baptist Church.
Arrangements are under the direction of Beckmann Funeral Home where visitation was held Sunday evening, Aug. 17.
Mrs. West was born April 6, 1913, in Garwood, the daughter of Louis Beckmeyer and Becky Poehler Beckmeyer. Her first husband, William Newton Harrison, preceded her in death. On June 3, 1950, she married Felton West who also preceded her in death.
Prior to retirement she was employed by the Houston Public School District.
Mrs. West is survived by three sons, one daughter and spouses, including David and Joana Harrison of Fredericksburg; Paul and Sally Harrison of Sidney, IL; James and Carol West of Georgia, and Linnelle Glasgow of Dallas; a daughter-in-law, Jean West of Liberty Hill, and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
In addition to her husbands and parents, Mrs. West was preceded in death by a son, Felton West Jr., six brothers and four sisters.
Memorials may be made to Camp Peniel Christian Camp in Marble Falls or Faith Baptist Church.
