MRS. JUNELLE B. HOPSON

Mrs. Junelle B. Hopson, 81, of 14 Maple St., died at 5:50 a.m., Tuesday, Sept. 30, 1975 in Massena Memorial Hospital where she had been a patient since Friday.

She was a resident of the St. Regis Nursing Home since May l974.

The body is at the Donaldson Funeral Home. Calling hours are from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday. Services will be
held at 10 a.m., Friday at the Donaldson Funeral home with the Rev. M. Russell Lee, pastor of the First United
Methodist Church, officiating. Burial will be in the family plot in the Pine Grove Cemetery.

Mrs. Hopson was born May 8,1894 in Orangeburg, S.C., the daughter of George W. and Emma Fogle Brodie. She attended schools in Springfield, S.C., and on Dec. 16, 1913 married Floyd B. Hopson at the bride's home in Norway, S.C., with the Rev R. B. Tarrant officiating.

The Hopsons came to Massena in Oct. 1931. She was a beautician, self employed in her own home, retiring in 1963.
Mr. Hopson was an engineer and after retirement worked for the Donaldson Funeral Home; He died Nov., 26, 1963. Mrs. Hopson was a member of Cretona Chapter 516, Order of the Eastern Star, the Rebecca Lodge 348 and the Baptist Church.

Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Vernon (Evelyn) Donaldson, N. Main St.; Mrs. John (Norma) Sirotiak, Cedar
Rapids, Ia.; two sons, Floyd N. Hopson, with the Rohm Hass Chemical Co., Huntingdon Valley, Pa,; Richard E.
Hopson, with the Sand Well International Inc., Tuslatin, Ore.; ten grandchildren; two great-grandchildren and one- step great-grandchild; two sisters, Mrs. Inez Hall, Taylor, S.C; Mrs. Roxie McLauren, Greenville, S.C., two brothers, Algie Brodie, Zamdenton, Miss., G.B. Brodie, Williston, S.C., several nieces and nephews. Two sisters and two brothers predeceased her.
