Florence Ruth Moore, 89, Independence, Kansas, passed from this life, Tuesday, August 12, 2008.

Florence was born in Bristow, Oklahoma, on June 25, 1919, to James Monroe Polm and Edna (Reinhart) Polm. She was married to Carl Dee Moore in Bristow, Oklahoma, March 20, 1934. Florence was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, great-great grandmother, and friend. She enjoyed the outside working in the garden and raising flowers. She could grow the finest and most beautiful flowers and then give them away to her friends. Florence also enjoyed walking and reading. She was of the Church of God faith. She was so faithful in caring for her husband during his sickness. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.

Florence was preceded in death by her parents James and Edna Polm; husband Carl Dee Moore; son Douglas Moore; grandson Richard Moore; great-granddaughter Brittany Stanfield; 4 brothers; and 3 sisters.

Graveside services for Florence will be Friday, August 15, 2008, at 11:00 A.M. in the Woodland Memorial Park Cemetery in Sand Springs, Oklahoma. Rev. Fred Waldrep will officiate.
