Ryan Anthony McDonald, 15 years of age, of Lonsdale, Tennessee was tragically taken from his family and friends on Thursday, August 21st, 2008. Ryan was born on October 7th, 1992 to Joseph Anthony and Barbara Jean McDonald.

Ryan was the sole victim of a fatal school shooting in the cafeteria at the Central High School in Fountain City, Tennessee. He was a sophomore at Central High School and had many friends there as well as in the Lonsdale Community. He always had a smile on his face and will be deeply missed and always loved by all who knew him.

Ryan was baptized at Temple Baptist Church on September 7th, 2003. We find comfort in knowing he has gone to be with the Lord.

He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Charles R. McDonald, Sr.; grandmother, Betty Lou Brown; sister, Kayla Brown; and cousin, Dustin Brown.

He was survived by his father, Joseph Anthony McDonald; mother, Barbara Jean McDonald; grandmother, Genny Miller; grandfather, Harvey Brown; brother, Jeremy Brown; sister, Crystal Dunlap; uncles and aunts, Roger and Donna McDonald, Jerry and Teresa Cooper, Ron and Sally Miller, George and Sandra McDonald, David and Casey Brown, Mike and Libby Delaney, Lee and Susie Newman, Gary and Tamera Brown; cousins, Channing McDonald, Cameron Cooper, Seanna Miller, Angel and Gary Brown, Shannon and Josh Denton, Anita Berry, McKayla and Little David Brown; nieces and nephews, Darryl Wayne Hunter, Jonathan, Destinee, Nathaniel and Kayden Travis; several more special cousins, extended family and friends.
