Elizabeth A. "Libby" Robinson, 80, of Millville died Tuesday afternoon, Aug. 19, 2008, at South Jersey Healthcare Regional Medical Center, Vineland. She had been in declining health.

Born in South Dennis, she grew up there and graduated from Millville High School, Class of 1946. She attended beautician school. In addition to working for Charlotte's Beauty Salon, she was self-employed. She was a member of St. Mary Magdalen Catholic Church of Millville, where she belonged to the Altar and Rosary Society. She also belonged to the Shepherd's of Bethlehem. She was a member of the South Jersey Organ Club. She enjoyed working crossword puzzles and playing her video gameboy. She also enjoyed traveling with her sisters and working with arts and crafts. She was an avid Eagles fan.

She is survived by two sisters, Peggy Volpe of Wildwood and Doris Robinson of Dennisville; four nieces, Clare Hughes of Millville, Charlotte Phillips and husband Hobert "Muggy," Celestine Dyson and husband Harry of Pitman, and Betty Martin and husband George of Millville; and a great-nephew, Thomas "Taz" Phillips.

She was predeceased by her parents, Walter and Esther Robinson; a sister, Anna Hughes; a brother, Paul Robinson; and an aunt and uncle, Charlotte and Thomas Tomlinson.

A funeral liturgy will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Monday in St. Mary Magdalen Catholic Church, Buck and Depot streets, Millville. There will be a viewing before the service from 9 to 9:45 a.m. Monday in the Christy Funeral Home, 11 W. Broad St., Millville.

Burial will be in Union Cemetery, South Dennis.

The family has requested memorial contributions to the American Diabetes Association, 150 Monument Road, Ste. 100, Bala Cynwyd, PA 19004; and/or St. Mary Magdalen Catholic Church, 614 Dock St., Millville, NJ 08332.
