George Aden, son of Addie Aden and Minnie Warnke Aden, was born June 3, 1869 at Winonk, Ill. and died at the Tabitha Home in Lincoln, March 10, 1954. When he was 11 months old his parents came to Jefferson county, taking a homestead four miles northwest of Fairbury. On Feb. 10, 1895 he married Grace They continued farming until her death Dec. 23, 1934. He was a member of the First Methodist church of Fairbury. Survivng are three daughters, Mrs. W.B. Trimble, of Lincoln, Mrs. A.H. Lewis of Battlecreek and Mrs. Ed Bartel of San Diego, Cal., five sisters, Mrs. John Schoenrock, Mrs. Ward Reesman, and Margaret Aden of Fairbury, Mrs. Joe Carstens of Elko, Nev., and Mrs. Charles Hasse of Beatrice, and five grandchildren and four great grandchildren. Funeral services were March 12 from Traum Funeral Home chapel, burial was in the Pleasant Hill Cemetery.
