Barbara was born to Jacob Dodd and Pearl (Gatton) Dodd in South Houston, Texas where she lived all of her life. She was of the Baptist faith. Barbara enjoyed gardening, needle point and was an avid reader. She dearly loved feeding and watching the birds and squirrels in her back yard. She is preceded in death by her husband Donald Carlson. Barbara is survived her daughter, Elise Allice and husband Tom; son, Donald Carlson and wife Cathy; brother, Everett Dodd and wife Viola; and 4 grandchildren, Erin, Neil, and Ryan Allice and Melissa Carlson.
