The precious daughter of Bonnie Wilkerson and Noah Powell.

Great Grandparents were Vera Bosarge and Eldridge Wilkerson. Grandparents on her mother's side are Shirley Fayard and Carl Lynn Wilkerson.

Melissa "Missy" Powell, 24, of the Larue Community, died Wednesday, April 21, 2004, in Larue.

Missy was a lifelong resident of Larue and a 1999 Graduate of St. Martin High School. She was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Arstede and Joyce Powell.

Survivors include her son, John Michael Scurrah, her parents, Noah and Bonnie Powell, her maternal grandparents, Carl and Shirley Wilkerson all of the Larue Community and two sisters, Heather Powell of Las Vegas, Nevada and Nancy Powell of Larue.

Services will be held at the Larue Baptist Church on Tuesday, April 27,2004, at 3 p.m., where friends may visit from 1 p.m. till service time. Burial will follow in the Wilkerson Family Cemetery.
