WILLA KENNEDY

--Once again the death angel entered the family circle & taken a loved one. Willa Lois Kennedy, the daughter of Elbert & Annie Curl Turner, was born June 5, 1913. She passed away at 11 p.m. Friday, Sept 6, 1985, at the Baptist Memorial Center in Kansas City. She was 72 years of age. She was born in Cedar County & lived in the Stockton & Caplinger Mills communities all her life.

Willa was married to Lloyd Kennedy June 25, 1944. To this union was born a daughter, Nancy Troyer, and a son, Bruce. Willa's husband passed Aug 26, 1976.

On Oct 11, 1932, she was saved at the Alder Missionary Baptist Church during a revival. She joined the church & was baptized & remained a member there. Willa was a happy person, one people always enjoyed meeting & talking to. God knows best, and she was prepared to meet her Lord for that great reunion around the great white throne.

She leaves to mourn her passing, the daughter, Nancy & son-in-law, Louis: her son Bruce & daughter-in-law, Joyce; a grandson, Sammie Kennedy, who gave her so much enjoyment; two sisters, Pearl Rayburn & Reba Cassell; nieces, nephews and a host of friends. Her final resting place was Caplinger Mills Cemetery.
