According to the 1900 Federal census for Glenrock, WY, Daisy was age 12 and living with her widowed mother and siblings.

According to the Douglas Budget no. 49 May 4, 1916 pg. 10:
"While driving some horses through town Friday evening the horse upon which Chas. Balcom was riding slipped and threw the rider to the ground with such violence that he was unconscious for several hours. Mr. Balcom was able to be at work Saturday, none the worse for his experiences."

According to FamilySearch.org in the 1920 Federal census for Glenrock, WY, Daisy was living with her widowed mother Mary Masterson, husband Charles B. Balcom b. about 1887 OR, son Charles T. Balcom b. about 1910 WY (actually 1 Dec. 1909, according to his headstone), and other family members.
