He passed away August 5, 2008 in Pauls Valley at the age of 31 years, 3 months and 17 days.
He worked for TMI Construction. He lived all of his life in the Pauls Valley and Wynnewood area. He was a member of The First United Methodist Church.
He graduated from Pauls Valley High School in 1995, where he lettered in football and wrestling 3 years. He enjoyed sports, hunting and fishing.
He is survived by his parents, Sara Jane and William Andrew Townsend of the home; sister, Jennifer Townsend of Ada, Okla.; brother, Joshua Townsend of Green Bay, Wisconsin; grandfather, Kenneth Townsend of Stratford, Okla.; uncles: Andy Nemecek of Ada, Okla., Stan Townsend of Ada, Okla., and Kenny Townsend of Oklahoma City, Okla.; aunts: Lucy Kelley of Pryor, Okla., Linda Johnston of California, Susan Law of Ada, Okla., Liz Johnston of Ada, Okla., and Gayle Aab of Portland, Oregon; and many nieces, nephews and friends.
Services will be held Saturday, August 9, 2008 at 10 a.m. and have been relocated to the Church of Christ in Wynnewood, officiated by Rev. Kevin Driskill.
Burial will follow at Oaklawn Cemetery in Wynnewood under the direction of DeArman Funeral Home.
