Annie Dean, 89, of Hermitage, died February 17, 2001, at Bradley County Medical Center at Warren. She was born January 22, 1912, at Ingalls (Bradley County), a daughter of the late John Amos and Lula Sharp Johnson.
She was a homemaker and a member of Eagle Lake Crossroads Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Garland Brooks Dean, whom she married in 1926 and who died in December 25, 1979; three sons, Charles Dean, Johnny Bob Dean and Rudy Dean; two brothers; a sister, Myrtle Mann; and a grandchild.
Survivors include three sons; four daughters; 24 grandchildren; 40 great-grandchildren; and five great-great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at 4 p.m. today at Union Hill Baptist Church with the Revs. Mike Griffith, Buddy Burton and Tim Smith officiating. Burial will be in Union Hill Cemetery by Frazer's Funeral Home of Warren.
