Born January 31, 1974 in High Point, Travis was a son of Harold David and Linda Freeman Combs. He was a graduate of Vandalia Christian School in Greensboro and High Point University, and was employed with Lincoln Financial in Greensboro. An avid outdoorsman, Travis often enjoyed skiing, mountain biking, running, fishing and canoeing. He also loved spending time with his four dogs: Anna, Ginger, Cricket and Daisy who were like his children.
Survivors include his wife Janet Renee Kennedy Combs of the residence; his parents David and Linda Combs of Archdale; a sister Andrea Lynn Marrow and husband R.B. of High Point; a brother John David Combs and wife Karen of Archdale. Also surviving are two nieces: Jordan Ashley Marrow and Lindsey Combs; four nephews: Nathan Daniel Marrow, Michal Andrew Marrow, Aaron Joseph Marrow and Landon Combs; and aunt and uncles: Shelby and Peg Martin, Jackie and Patsy Smith, and Mike and Sharon Snyder.
Funeral will be 10:00 a.m. Monday, July 28, 2008 at Reavis Memorial Baptist Church in High Point officiated by Rev. Darryl R. Love. Interment will follow at Hopewell United Methodist Church Cemetery.
