Zachary Lee Adkins, Sr., age 25, of Chatham died Saturday, August 16, 2008 at his residence.

Born April 5, 1983 in Danville he is the son of Lee Adkins and Darlene Osborne Adkins of Chatham. Zach was a landscaper working for Troy's Lawn Care and Landscaping. He enjoyed the outdoors, fishing and four wheeling with his children.

In addition to his parents he is survived by his wife, Emily Oakes Adkins of the residence; one son, Zachary Lee (Z.J.) Adkins, Jr. of the residence; one daughter, Zoey Paige Adkins of the residence; one brother, Zeb Adkins of Chatham, and a maternal grandfather, David C. Osborne Sr. of Gretna.

Graveside services will be conducted 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, August 20, 2008 at the Adkins Family Cemetery by Randy Parker, Minister.

The family will receive friends 7 to 8:30 p.m. Tuesday at Colbert-Moran Funeral Home and other times will be at the residence.

Colbert-Moran Funeral Home, Gretna, VA is in charge of arrangements.
