Orsag

Ernest Ray Orsag, 77, of Buckholts died Aug. 3 in a Rockdale nursing home. Funeral services were held Aug. 13 at Marek-Burns-Laywell Funeral Home in Cameron with Rev. Gary Kelypas officiating. Burial followed in the Corinth Cemetery near Buckholts.

Orsag was born on Sept. 6, 1930 in Milam County to Pete John and Annie (Ruzicka) Orsag. He married Lois Gommert on June 24, 1951. He retired from Temple Products after more than 43 years. He was a member of the Buckholts Brethren Church where he had served as elder and Sunday school supervisor. He also served on the Milam County Junior Livestock Show board.

Survivors include his wife, Lois Orsag of Buckholts; sons, Larry Orsag of Buckholts and Randy Orsag of Cameron; daughters, Gail Hollas of Cameron and Vickie Plachy of Cameron; brothers, Dwayne Orsag of Cameron and Charles Orsag of Buchanan Dam; 10 grandchildren; and six great grandchildren.

Marek-Burns-Laywell Funeral Home in Cameron was in charge of arrangements.
