Frank served as a Private First Class in the 106th Infantry, 27th Infantry Division, U.S. Army during World War II.

He resided in Oneida County, New York and was a member of the New York National Guard prior to the war.

His National Guard unit was called into full time active Army service on October 15, 1940, prior to the war, from Utica, New York. He was noted, at that time, as being employed as a Actor and also as Single, without dependents.

Frank "Died Of Wounds" received in action on Okinawa during the war.

He was awarded the Purple Heart.

He was originally interred overseas and was later repatriated here on March 23, 1949.
