ELIZABETHVILLE Verna M. Howard, 89, of 48 W. Main St. died Friday in Polyclinic Medical Center.
She was retired from the former Ned Rich Sewing Factory and Garment Workers Union Local 363 and was a member of St. John Lutheran Church.
She was the widow of Homer A. Lebo and Isaac L. Howard. Surviving are three sons, Theodore M. Lebo of Elizabethville, Robert A. Lebo of Kissimmee, Fla., and James D. Lebo of Adamsville, Ala.; four stepdaughters, Loretta Boyer of Millersburg, Mary Ellen Hoover of McVeytown, Ferle Lenker of Pillow and Pearl Buffington of Halifax; three stepsons, Harold Howard of Elizabethville and Donald and Richard Howard, both of Millersburg; a sister, Margaret Snyder of Millersburg; 46 grandchildren; 61 great-grandchildren; and eight great-great-grandchildren.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday in her church. Burial will be in the adjoining cemetery.
Viewing will be from 7 to 9 p.m. Monday in Hoover Funeral Home.
