Steven was born in Bloomington to Donald and Frieda Spinks Burris on May 27, 1956.
He is a member of the Bloomington Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.
Steven leaves behind son, Michael Burris; son, Terry J. Burris and his fiancée, Connie; mother, Frieda Spinks (Burris) Snoddy; brother, Brian Burris and his wife, Lisa; granddaughter, Alexandria Elizabeth Burris and nephews, Brandon and Camron Burris, all residents of Bloomington.
He was preceded in death by his father, Donald Burris; his stepfather, James Snoddy; and his stepson, Richard Cochran.
Visitation for Steven will be held Saturday, August 16, 2008, at Allen Funeral Home, 4155 South Old State Road 37, from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. Funeral services will follow at 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be in Dishman Cemetery.
