Funeral services for Junior Wellington Stuber, 86, of Rosepine, will be held Sunday, Nov. 2, 2008 at 2 p.m., at Beth-el Apostolic Church, with the Rev. Toby Frake and Bro. Wilburn Whatley officiating. Interment will follow at Miller Cemetery, under the direction of Chaddick Funeral Home, of DeRidder.

Visitation will be Sunday, Nov. 1, from 8 a.m. until 12 p.m. at the funeral home and then from 1 p.m. until service time, at the Beth-El Apostolic Church.

Mr. Stuber passed away Friday, Oct. 31, 2008 at Rosepine Retirement and Rehabilitation Center.

He was a retired United States Army Major with 24 years of service.

He is survived by his wife, Natie Lee Stuber, of Rosepine; one daughter, Shirley Back, and husband, George, of Cottonwood, La.; one son, Charles Stuber, and wife, Susie, of Humble, Texas; two step daughters, Robin Slaydon and husband, Larry, of Rosepine, and Teryan Cooley and husband, David, of Tomball, Texas; six grandchildren, Keith Siquefield, Lori Freshoure, Lendi Stuber, Justin Stuber, Matthew Back, and Danielle Stuber; three great grandchildren; one sister, Evelyn Otoole, of Canyon, Colo.; and one brother, Carl Stuber, of Monte Vista, Colo.
