Martha M. Litterer, 78, Danville R.D.3, died Wednesday afternoon at the Gold Star Nursing Home, Danville, where she had been a guest for five days.
She was born in Derry Township, Montour County, a daughter of the late George and Anna Vognetz Raup. She spent her entire life in the Danville area, and was a member of St. John's United Church of Christ, Mausdale.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Norman, on April 12, 1976.
Survivors include three sons, George A., Danville R.D.3; Thomas H., Pleasantville, N.J. and Philip C. of Welch, Minn.; two daughters, Helen Litterer, Pittsburgh, and Mrs. Gerald (Ida) Randler, Pocono Summit; 11 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren; three sisters, Mrs. Wallace Mottern, Danville R.D.5; Eva Barnhart, Danville, and Agnes Kriner, Danville.
Services will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. from the Frank W. Roat Funeral Home, Danville with the Rev. Richard Shearer, pastor of St. John's United Church of Christ, Mausdale, officiating. Burial will be made in Columbia Hill Cemetery, Danville, R.D.
