Mildred Dean Wood was the daughter of Lemuel B. & Ersie L. Underhill Wood. She married Robert L. Hoover 06 Nov, 1947. They had three daughters Judy, Pat & Bonnie Hoover.

A lifetime resident of Cannon Co., Ms. Hoover was the daughter of the late Lem & Ersie Underhill Wood. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Lee Hoover, Jr.; and son-in-law, Glen Foster. Ms. Hoover was a member of the Wood Church of Christ and a homemaker.
