Polo, MO- Lois Maxine (Webber) Oswald, 69 of Polo, entered into eternal rest on Thursday, Aug 14, 2008, at her home after a brief illness.
Mrs Oswald was born on Jan. 8, 1939, in Plattsburg MO., to E. Rex and Martha (Fisher) Webber.
She was preceded in death by parents: three brothers; a sister; and a granddaughter, Carol Ann Moore.
She Married Kenneth T. Oswald in March of 1958. He preceded her in death in February of 1996.
Survivors includes her sons, Terry Oswald, and his wife Beth, of Parkville, MO: Kenneth Wade Oswald, and his wife Liz of Lathrop, MO: Jeff Oswald, and his wife Brenda of Excelsior Springs, MO: daughters, Lois Darmell. and her husband, Jeff of Polo: and Sherry Kelly, and her husband Bill of Lee's Summit MO,: four sisters, Nellie Wirtz, and her husband, Jim of Polo, MO: Wanda Howard, and her husband, Dan of Shingle Springs CA.; Midge Dennis, and husband, Clinton K. "Dub" of Turney, MO,; and Joyce McCown of Cameron, MO,; a brother Edware R. "Eddie" Webber, and his wife Sue, of Bend OR,; 15 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
The family will receive friends Saturday Aug 16 from 1 to 4 p.m. at BAiley & Cox Family family Funeral Service in Polo, MO. There also will be visitation on Sunday, Aug 17, fron 12 until service time at 2p.m. in the chapel at Graceland Cemetery in Creston, IA. Burial will follow in Graceland Cemetery.
