JAMES WOODROW "Brother Woody" MOREFIELD, 89, of Calvert City, KY, died at 6:50AM Wednesday, June 1, 2005 at Calvert City Convalescent Center.
Mr. Morefield was retired from the Penwalt Corporation. He was a Kentucky Colonel, and a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post #5739. He was a World War II veteran, serving in the United States Army.
He is survived by his wife, Alice Jane Melton Morefield of Calvert City, KY; and one sister, Nelda Jean Williams of Calvert City, KY.
He was preceded in death by one son, James M. Morefield; one brother; and three sisters. His parents were Ed Morefield and Bertha Stice Morefield.
