Aunt Repthia Holmes Taylor; daughter of Charlie A. and Docia (West) Holmes.. Married to Durham R. Taylor. Lived in Old Salem most of her life. Children: Elva Arthia ( Bryson )b. Oct. 4, 1910 of South Houston; Virginia Dean ( married Louis Ozan) born 1913 lived in Buna; Duly Lee Married "Buddy" Granger and lived in Orangefield; Charley D. ( only son born May 1918); Docia Marie "Pat" born 1922 and Annnie Felicia "Mickey" born 1923. She also raised several of her grandchildren here on the old farm; Adrian and James Brown and Richard R. "Dickey" Flanigan... What I most remember about Aunt Repthia was her voice. She always spoke very loudly.and started talking the minute she entered the gate.
