BARLOW, Anita Jean (Bruns), age 58 of Kettering went home to the Lord on Aug. 8, 2008 after a valiant battle with breast cancer; and was reunited with her husband Butch, the love of her life. She was also preceded in death by her parents Robert & Roberta Jo Bruns. Jean was a graduate of Fairmont East High School and retired from Ohio Bell after 25 years of service. She was an OSU Buckeye fanatic and an avid rock collector. Jean was a devoted mother to son, Ryan (Jen) and a loving stepmother to Michelle (Kevin) and Angela (Eric). She was a dedicated grandmother and continues to watch over Holden, Braelyn, Aiden and Aleysha. Jean is also survived by her caring sister, Bobbe Jo Bruns; special cousin, Sandy (Jim) Rice; niece, Dana {Bruce(Katlyn, Emily)}; and numerous other beloved family members, friends, and her faithful canine companion Kobe. Jean was dearly loved and loved dearly; she and her cheerful, generous personality will be sadly missed by her survivors, including her exceptional friends: Paula Robinson, Debbie Wright, Debbie Mann, Sandy (Bill) Dishman, and Bonnie (Joe) Seiser. Jeans body was donated to Wright State Univ.
