Frances Naoma Walden, 74, died Wednesday, Aug. 13, 2008. Visitation will be 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday, at OakCrest Funeral Home. Graveside services will be 11 a.m. Monday, at Austin Memorial Park Cemetery in Austin, with Ernie Christie officiating.

Naoma was born in Cherokee, Texas, to the late Glenn and Allegra Randolph. Naoma married Burford Walden in 1953. She lived most of her life in Austin before moving to Waco in 1998. Naoma was a member of Lake Shore Church of Christ.

Naoma was preceded in death by her husband.

She is survived by daughters, Denys King and husband, James, of China Spring, and Dana Walden, of Waco; and grandson, James Randolph King, of Edmond, Okla.
