Mary Teresa Neville, 101, of Grand Island, died Monday (Oct. 4, 1993) at Grand Island.
She was born Aug. 10, 1892 in York to Fred and Mary (Kappel) Beide. She married Francis P. Neville on Oct. 7, 1914 in York, and he preceded her in death in 1976. The couple lived and farmed in York County and at Wood River for a number of years before retirement, and were members of St. Joseph's Catholic Church in York.
Survivors include three sons, Francis (Pearl) Neville of North Hollywood, Calif., Ray (Barbara) Neville and William (Arlene) Neville, all of Grand Island; three daughters, Teresa Schepers of Fairmont, Vera Philbin of San Luis Obispo, Calif., and Dolores (Gilbert) Babcock of Santa Margarita, Calif.; 33 grandchildren; 50 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great grandchildren and 2 step-great-great grandchildren.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents, two daughters, one brother, one sister and two sons-in-law.
Services are 10:30a.m. Thursday at St. Joseph's Church in York with the Rev. James Divis officiating. Rosary services are 8 p.m. Wednesday at Metz Chapel in York. Burial at the church cemetery. Memorials are in care of the family. Metz Mortuary in York is in charge of the arrangements.
