Ash, Kathryn C. (nee Yureck) lost her 6 year long and courageous fight with cancer on August 9, 2008 and is now in peace with our Lord. Living in Buffalo, NY; born in Granite City, IL; her remains are returning home to her beloved city of St. Louis, MO for interment. Preceded in death by her dearest son Mark, her dear father, George; mother, Johanna; and brother George Yureck and survived by her loving husband Jonathan Ash, her beloved sisters Kathleen Kretchmar and Mary Rains and brother Stanley Yureck and her adoring nieces and nephews; Kelley and Sarah Kretchmar and; Jessica and James Rains; Darin, Michael, John, Alan, Amy Yureck and her cherished step daughter Lindsay Ash. Kathryn loved Gardening, Hobbies and Crafts and most of all enjoying life to the fullest with her friends and family.Services: There will be visitation at KUTIS SOUTH COUNTY CHAPEL, 5255 Lemay Ferry Road (At Butler Hill) St. Louis on Friday August 15, 2008 from 4:00 to 8:00 PM with a prayer service at 9:30 AM Saturday August 16, 2008 at the same followed by a Mass at 10:00 AM at Mary Mother of the Church, 5901 Kerth Road, St. Louis, MO 63128. Interment Resurrection Cemetery.
