HAPPY - Jennifer Jeanne Runyon, 36, died Friday, Aug. 8, 2008, in Fort Worth.

Celebration of life services will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday in United Methodist Church in Happy. Graveside services will be at 2:30 p.m. Friday in Claude Cemetery in Claude by Brooks Funeral Directors of Happy and Canyon.

Jennifer Jeanne Runyon was born Nov. 28, 1971, to Dick and Peggy Harris Runyon. She attended school in Canyon and Happy and graduated from Amarillo College School of Nursing in December 2003. She was a caring and gifted nurse who truly enjoyed taking care of others. Jennifer loved her family, and her children were the joy of her life.

She was preceded in death by her father and her grandfather, Fred Harris.

Survivors include a daughter, Victoria; a son, Triston; her mother, Peggy Harris Guthrie of Happy; her grandmother, Imogene Wilmoth Harris of Tulia; a sister, Leigh Schulte of Amarillo; a brother, Chad Noel of Happy; an uncle, Rodney Harris of Happy; four aunts, Shelley Fields of Claude, Polly Chester of Sudan, Mellody Harris of Tulia and Sue Becquet of Corpus Christi; two nieces; and a nephew.

The family suggests memorials be to a favorite Christian organization or charity.
