Mrs Alazina Bennett, a native of Missouri, aged 64 years, passed away at her home near Amsterdam. Mrs Bennett was a widow and had resided in this county for the past five years, coming from Round Valley, Mendocino county, where she had lived for many years and where she had many friends and acquaintances. Funeral services were held at the Welch & Griffin chapel yesterday morning, the services being conducted by the Rev MacHatton of the Christina church and there here vocal numbers performed. The remains were forwarded to Ukiah for internment.
