Robert, 82, 961 state Route 707, passed away at 12:15 p.m., in his home.

He was born to Edward and Florence (Martz) Bader. He married twice, first to Gypsia Esterline, who preceded him in death. On Feb 28, 1953, he married Dorothy Bollenbacher, who survives.

Also surviving are two sons, Art, Rockford, and Jim (Lori), Celina; a brother, William (Edith), Rockford; a sister, Carol Sue (Orville) Eischen, Celina; a sister-in-law, Mary Harriet Bader, Celina; and two grandchildren.

Deceased are a brother, Larry; and two sisters, Wanda Deitsch and Mary Bader.

He retired from Total Electric, served in the U.S. Army during World War II and was a former member of the U.S. Trotting Association. He was a member of St. Pauls Lutheran Church and the church council, both of Liberty Township, and the Mercer County Horseman's Association.

Services were at the church, the Rev. Randy Swanson officiating.
