Also surviving are two sons, Art, Rockford, and Jim (Lori), Celina; a brother, William (Edith), Rockford; a sister, Carol Sue (Orville) Eischen, Celina; a sister-in-law, Mary Harriet Bader, Celina; and two grandchildren.
Deceased are a brother, Larry; and two sisters, Wanda Deitsch and Mary Bader.
He retired from Total Electric, served in the U.S. Army during World War II and was a former member of the U.S. Trotting Association. He was a member of St. Pauls Lutheran Church and the church council, both of Liberty Township, and the Mercer County Horseman's Association.
