Marvin was born April 20, 1928 in the Town of Herman, Sheboygan County, to the late Arthur R. and Esther (Wehrmann) Gosse. He was baptized May 30, 1928 and Confirmed March 28, 1942 at Trinity Lutheran Church in Howards Grove.
Marvin attended School at Schwarzwald in the Town of Herman.
On September 27, 1958, Marvin married the former Marilyn Henschel at St. Mark's Ev. & Reformed Church in the Town of Mosel. She preceded him in death on August 27, 2007.
Marvin was a member of St. James UCC, Spring Valley, Manitowoc County. He had been employed at Richardson Brothers Company over 35 years, retiring in 1993.
Marvin is survived by two sisters, Doris Maechlte of Port Washington, and Caroline (Kenneth) Greger of Sheboygan. He is also survived by his sister-in-law, Elverta ( Wayne) Reinemann of Franklin, and his brothers-in-law, Kenneth (Shirley) Henschel of School Hill, and Vernon (Jean) Henschel of Cleveland, nieces and nephews.
He was also preceded in death by a brother-in-law Harvey Maechlte.
Burial in St James UCC cemetery.
