ZANESVILLE -William Albert Weyrick, 95, of 1059 Heber St., passed away at 3:45 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 26, 2006 at Genesis Extended Care Center.
He was born March 13, 1911, in Zanesville. He was retired from Columbia Cement and was a World War II U.S. Army Veteran.
He is survived by two daughters, Nancy (Paul) Abbott of Zanesville and Bonnie Weyrick of Avondale; several grandchildren and several great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Mattie Dickerson Weyrick and one sister, Grace Taylor.
Calling hours will be held from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday, at DeLong-Baker & Lanning Funeral Home, 56 S. Fifth St.
Service will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 28, 2006, at the funeral home. Burial will be held in Woodlawn Cemetery. The George Selsam Post will conduct graveside military services.
