Entered into eternal rest on the afternoon of August 9, 2008, Alice Louise Bizzell Bagwell, widow of CD Bagwell. Residence, Dahlonega, GA, formerly of Charleston, SC. The relatives and friends are invited to attend her graveside funeral services in Bethany Cemetery Thursday, August 14, 2008, at three o'clock. Friends may call at J. HENRY STUHR, INC., DOWNTOWN CHAPEL Thursday prior to the service between twelve noon and two o'clock. Louise was born May 20, 1925 in Charleston, SC, the daughter of the late Leo Lester Bizzell and Alice Ruth Douglas Bizzell. She attended the College of Charleston, leaving to help the war effort by working at the Charleston Naval Shipyard during WWII. Louise was a lifelong member of Trinity United Methodist Church. She loved to laugh and sing. She will be missed by the furry creatures in her life; Caleb , the Irish Setter, and Boots , Trisha and Samee , the kitties. Louise is survived by a daughter, Lorna Bagwell of Dahlonega, GA; a cousin, Gail Llewelen and husband, Lou, of Charleston; two sisters-in-law, Iris Pierce and Barbara Williams, both of Spartanburg, SC; and two brothers-in-law, Simp Bagwell of Jacksonville, FL and Bill Bagwell and wife, Margaret, of Pensacola, FL. She is also survived by dear friends, Elma England, Faye Davis, and her loving caregiver, Rosa Milligan, all of Charleston. She was predeceased by her husband of more than 50 years, CD; her son, David W. Bagwell; and a sister, Leona Bizzell Maple.
