Velma Lake, 92 of Rigby, died at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center.She was born January 21, 1916, in Annis, to Erastus Walker and Mary Alvina Smithies Walker.
On October 13, 1934, she married J. Morgan Lake Jr.; their marriage was solemnized March 31, 1936, in the Logan LDS Temple.She was also a member of The Daughters of Utah Pioneers, Dorian Camp. She served in the Business and Professional Women's Association, volunteered at EIRMC for 13 years, and served on the Rigby Library Board.
She is survived by her husband, J. Morgan Lake Jr., of Rigby, daughters, sons a sister,19 grandchildren, 48 great grandchildren and 6, great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, an infant daughter, and a brother, Verl Walker.
